The Algerian Music Association of London (AMAL) is born out of a profound love for community, heritage, and the power of song.
Founded in February 2025 following the overwhelming success of our Algerian-Andalusi singing workshops at DzFest 2024, AMAL is a vibrant vocal choir where generations meet.
We bring together parents, children, seasoned musicians, and aspiring singers to celebrate, preserve, and re-discover our rich cultural roots.
Our varied repertoire spans treasured Algerian classics to timeless musical favourites, creating a space where history comes alive through melody. Whether you are looking to connect with your heritage or share the joy of singing, our community welcomes you.
We gather for inspiring bi-monthly workshops - explore our Events Page to join our next session!
